We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager and Supervisor to join our team and support daily operations.
Job Summary:
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the bistro. You will support the Restaurant Manager and team n overseeing day to day operations, supervising staff, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring a top-tier guest experience. This is a hands on role ideal for someone with leadership experience in hospitality and a passion for food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the daily operations of the bistro, including front-of-house service and staff coordination
Support the hiring, training, and scheduling of front-of-house staff
Ensure outstanding guest service and promptly handle customer feedback or complaints
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance
Help oversee inventory, ordering, and stock rotation
Ensure a smooth flow of service between the kitchen and the dining area
Lead by example and support team morale and performance
Open and/or close the bistro, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant, café, or bistro
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software
Preferred Qualifications:
Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of food, wine, and seasonal bistro-style cuisine
Experience in training and developing staff
