We are passionate about great food, excellent service, and creating a warm atmosphere for both guests and staff. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager and Supervisor to join our team and support daily operations.

Job Summary:

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the bistro. You will support the Restaurant Manager and team n overseeing day to day operations, supervising staff, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring a top-tier guest experience. This is a hands on role ideal for someone with leadership experience in hospitality and a passion for food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the bistro, including front-of-house service and staff coordination

  • Support the hiring, training, and scheduling of front-of-house staff

  • Ensure outstanding guest service and promptly handle customer feedback or complaints

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance

  • Help oversee inventory, ordering, and stock rotation

  • Ensure a smooth flow of service between the kitchen and the dining area

  • Lead by example and support team morale and performance

  • Open and/or close the bistro, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant, café, or bistro

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication and problem solving abilities

  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Knowledge of food, wine, and seasonal bistro-style cuisine

  • Experience in training and developing staff
